ADAPTI-M

The collaborative project ADAPTI-M focuses on improving the analysis of infection processes. Its goal is to further develop the agent-based framework developed in the predecessor project Optim-Agent into a next-generation modeling approach.

  • Advance next-generation agent-based simulation for respiratory infectious disease spread in Germany
  • Integrate AI-based methods for automated model parameterization and calibration Model both droplet and aerosol-based transmission pathways within a unified framework
  • Implement, evaluate, and compare all non-pharmaceutical interventions deployed during the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Provide public health authorities with an adaptive, in-silico decision-support tool for future pandemic response

  • Development of decision-support system components for crisis and pandemic management
  • Modeling and simulation of logistics and information flows during respiratory pandemics
  • Integration of humanitarian and health system capacity constraints into the agent-based framework
  • Design of evaluation scenarios for public health measures from a crisis management perspective
